Directions
Safe Handling Instructions: This product was prepared from inspected and passed meat and/or poultry. Some food products may contain bacteria that could cause illness if the product is mishandled or cooked improperly. For your protection, follow these safe handling instructions. Keep refrigerated or frozen. Thaw in refrigerator or microwave. Keep raw meat and poultry separate from other foods. Wash working surfaces (including cutting boards), utensils, and hands after touching raw meat or poultry. Cook thoroughly. Keep hot foods hot. Refrigerate leftovers immediately or discard.
Cooking Instructions: Pan Fry: Arrange bacon slices in a single layer in unheated skillet. Cook bacon over medium heat for 8-10 minutes, turning occasionally. Cook to desired crispness. Drain on paper towel before serving. Microwave: Place bacon in single layer on paper towel on microwave plate. Cover with paper towels. Microwave on high to desired crispness. 4 slices: 3-3 1/2 min. (All Microwave ovens vary. Time given is approximate). A thermometer cannot be used to probe bacon due to the inadequate depth of the product; thermometer would not have an accurate temperature reading. All pork products must be cooked to a minimum internal temperature of 145 degrees F.
