What is Schedule & Save?

Schedule & Save is an easy and convenient way for you to manage and receive your most frequently used products at a lower price on a regularly scheduled cadence. With Schedule & Save, you can select the timing and frequency of your pickup or delivery and cancel or reactivate individual items at your convenience.

We know life can get a bit busy, so we’ll also send you reminders ahead of your upcoming orders to give you plenty of time to make any adjustments. You can add items to your order until the day before it’s processed, and include non-scheduled items with your order.

How does Schedule & Save work?

Simply select the Schedule & Save option on eligible products and schedule the delivery or pickup frequency. You’ll receive an email showing your Schedule & Save items and their delivery or pickup schedules.

What is a Schedule & Save price and how does it work?

The Schedule & Save price is a great everyday price. If we have a better price in your store (the store you selected for Schedule & Save) at the time of order processing, you’ll receive the lower price.

All prices are estimated until your order is processed. During order processing, any applicable taxes, fees, deposits and charges will be applied.

Why did the prices of my items change?

While it’s not common, individual prices of Schedule & Save items may vary over time. If there’s a price change, you’ll see the new price reflected in your order confirmation email the day before your order is processed.

You can view, edit, and cancel your items in your Manage Schedule & Save page.

Can I use coupons with my Schedule & Save items?

Yes, remember to clip your coupons from your Safeway for U® gallery. Clipped coupons that are valid at the time your order is processed will be applied on top of the Schedule & Save price.

Which items are included in the Schedule & Save program?

We’ll be adding more and more items to the Schedule & Save program, and hopefully include all of your favorites soon. You can view Schedule & Save items currently in the program.

Can I add items that are not eligible for the Schedule & Save program to my Schedule & Save order?

Yes, and we’ve made it simple for you. You’ll receive an email notification one day prior to your expected delivery or pickup date. Simply click on the provided link to add items to your Next Order. You’ll be able to add items on the day before your delivery or pickup date.

Can I make changes to my Schedule & Save orders?

Change your mind? No problem! Head to your Manage Schedule & Save page to edit your items, frequency, order date and time, delivery or pickup address, payment method, and skip or cancel orders. 

You can view your next Schedule & Save order on the Next Order tab in Manage Schedule & Save. To view future scheduled order details, click on the All Items tab.

Are there any delivery or pickup fees?

There are no fees for pickup orders at your local store.  For delivery orders, unless you are a member of our FreshPassTM program (where you would have no delivery charge as long as you meet the requirements), we do have a delivery fee for Schedule & Save orders.

We encourage you to build your basket and include items you think you’ll need to get the most out of the Schedule & Save program.

Delivery fees for different windows of time:

  • $3.95 for a 4-hour window
  • $5.95 for a 2-hour window
  • $9.95 for a 1-hour window

Is there an order minimum for Schedule & Save orders?

There’s no order minimum, but we encourage you to build your basket to get the most out of the Schedule & Save program.

How do I skip an item from my next Schedule & Save order?

  • Head to your Manage Schedule & Save page in your account.
  • View your next scheduled order on the Next Order.
  • Click on the Skip this item link next to the item to push it to the next order cycle date.
  • You can also click on the Skip this order link at the bottom of the page to skip your next order.

When will I be charged?

When you place an online order for Schedule & Save, the estimated total is pre-authorized on your debit or credit card one day before your order is processed and held by your financial institution. A temporary authorization hold is not an actual charge, but will reduce the amount available to spend from your account. The actual order amount will be finalized on the day of delivery or pickup. Your bank may take up to 5 business days after the delivery or pickup date to release the estimated total hold and display your final charge. If an order is canceled, your bank may take up to 5 business days to release the hold. 

How do I cancel?

To cancel an item from Schedule & Save:

  • Go to the All Items tab in Manage Schedule & Save.
  • Click on Cancel.
  • Select a cancellation reason.
  • Click on Cancel.

How will I know when my item is ready for delivery or pickup?

Items scheduled for delivery will be delivered on your preferred day of the week within the time window you selected if available. Items scheduled for pickup will be ready on the order date based on the pickup dates and times available.

Your items will be grouped into one order and scheduled based on the preferred day and time window you’ve selected for that week.

We’ll send you email notifications before your order will be processed so you can review everything. You can also choose to receive text message notifications, which will be sent the day before your order is ready.

You can view and modify the next order date on the All Items tab within your Manage Schedule & Save page in your account.

Are there any additional Schedule & Save charges?

There aren’t any additional Schedule & Save charges other than applicable taxes, delivery fees, deposits and other fees (For example: bag fee).

Can I order prescriptions through Schedule & Save?

No, not at this time.

How can I check the status of my order?

You can view the status of your next Schedule & Save order in your Manage Schedule & Save page.

How do I contact customer support about my Schedule & Save order?

Call us at (877) 505-4040, 7 days a week from 5:00 AM to 10:00 PM Pacific Time. You can also get answers to your questions through our virtual assistant on our website or mobile app, or fill out an online Help Request Form if that’s more convenient.

Welcome to the terms and conditions ("Terms") for our Schedule & Save program. These Terms, together with the other documents described herein, constitute the entire agreement between you and Albertsons Companies, Inc. directly or through one or more of its affiliates/subsidiaries (collectively, "Company", "we" and "us") relating to our Schedule & Save program. Please note that your use of any Company website or mobile application is governed by our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy, as well as all other applicable terms, conditions, limitations and requirements on all Company websites, all of which (as modified from time to time) are incorporated into these Terms. By placing an order through our Schedule & Save program, you accept these terms, conditions, limitations, and requirements. Please read and review these Terms carefully.


Program Overview

When you participate in the Schedule & Save program on our Company website, you are signing up to purchase (on a periodic basis) products at the Schedule & Save price in effect at the time of order processing. You may select the quantity and frequency in which you would like your product(s) fulfilled, as well as the preferred fulfillment method/day/time. You may also change your preferred shipping address, pick-up store and payment method associated with the program up to 3 days before your next order date. Any eligible coupon(s) that you have clipped and are valid at the time of order processing will be applied to the Schedule & Save price for additional savings.

We reserve the right to change Schedule & Save terms, conditions, limitations and requirements at any time and sole discretion without notice. We will notify you of any price increases before the order is processed. Some of the order details may change as your product(s) are fulfilled over time (for example, price, taxes, availability, delivery fees).

Notifications; Order Creation; Order Changes or Cancellation

After you subscribe to a product in our Schedule & Save program, you will receive a notice when your Schedule & Save item has been confirmed for subscription. Your order fulfillment date will depend on the frequency chosen by you at the time of subscription and selected payment method will be charged at the time the order is processed. Your Schedule & Save subscription will thereafter automatically create a new order according to your chosen frequency, until you cancel. In the event multiple product subscriptions exist, these will be grouped together into one order, such that you will receive a maximum of one Schedule & Save order per week. The expected date of fulfillment for such order will be communicated to you when you set up the subscription, as well as in email notifications prior to the order fulfillment date. 

For subsequent orders of products included in Schedule & Save, up to 3 days prior to the fulfillment date, you will receive an email notification reminding you of your upcoming order, the period available to make changes to your order and the scheduled fulfillment date. You can edit, skip or cancel your order up until 11:59 PM local time the day preceding your designated fulfillment date. At this time, you can also add items not eligible for the Schedule & Save Program to your order.  You can also reschedule the date/time of your delivery or pickup order at this time. You will receive an email the day before your order fulfillment date and a text notification if your mobile number has been shared with us (and have not opted out of text notifications). An authorization hold will be applied to your credit/debit card the day before the order fulfillment date. You will see a pending charge during this time as we prepare your order.  There is no need to call or update any information online when you see this pending charge.  If you do not cancel the order before the day prior to your fulfillment date, your order will be processed, and a charge will be placed on the payment method associated with your product subscription once the order is fulfilled. 

Credit Card Authorizations and Charges

When you participate in our Schedule & Save program, you will be required to expressly agree to permit us to charge your chosen payment method on a recurring basis, as well as the amount of the charge, which shall be set as described below. Approximately 24 hours prior to your fulfillment date, your order will be authorized, and a payment authorization hold will be placed on your chosen payment method. Once your order is processed, your payment method will be charged for the authorized amount and the hold will be released. The amount ultimately charged will reflect any changes to the order you have made after the payment authorization.  If you provide a club card or loyalty telephone number during registration, you will earn rewards points on a Schedule & Save order just like a regular online order placed with us.

Pricing; Payment; Renewal; Cancellation

You will always be notified via email when a price change will affect an upcoming order, and you will have the ability to edit or cancel such order. If there is a price change, you will see the new price reflected in the order confirmation email the day before the order is processed.

The amount you are ultimately charged for a product fulfilled pursuant to our Schedule & Save program will be the price of that item as stated in the pre-order processing email notification. This email is sent one day before the order fulfillment date. This will typically be the Schedule & Save price, but in the event the store from which your order is being fulfilled has a lower price on the day the order gets processed, you will receive the lower price. In addition, if you have clipped any eligible coupons, they will be applied on top of your order price at the time of order processing provided the coupons are still valid. You will not be charged until your order is delivered or picked up. The total cost charged to your payment method for each Schedule & Save order will be the price of the item(s) and any applicable discounts, plus any applicable taxes, delivery fees, deposits, fees and charges. Delivery fees will apply based on the order fulfillment window, specifically $3.95 for 4-hour window, $5.95 for 2-hour window, and $9.95 for one-hour window.

The charge for each Schedule & Save order will be billed to the payment method you used to create your Schedule & Save subscription. If we are unable to complete your Schedule & Save order with that payment method, we will notify you and give you the opportunity to update the payment method in your account.

Your subscription for each product will remain in effect until it is individually cancelled. You can cancel via Manage Schedule & Save page, which can be found in Your Account.

Agreement Changes

We may, in our sole discretion, change these Terms, (including all applicable terms, conditions, limitations and requirements on the Company website), without notice to you. If any change to these Terms is found invalid, void, or for any reason unenforceable, that change is severable and does not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining changes or conditions. YOUR CONTINUED PARTICIPATION AFTER WE CHANGE THESE TERMS CONSTITUTES YOUR ACCEPTANCE OF THE CHANGES. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO ANY CHANGES, YOU MUST CANCEL YOUR SUBSCRIPTIONS.

Additional Terms

We may, in our sole discretion, terminate your subscriptions at any time without notice. If we do so, you will be charged only for orders that have been fulfilled. Your participation in the Schedule & Save program is personal to you, and you may not assign or transfer your subscription or any of the benefits to any third party without our authorization. All returns under Schedule & Save are subject to the Company Return Policy. Schedule & Save subscriptions are void where prohibited.
