Partially Milled Brown Rice.
Directions Combine 1 cup Nishiki Quick Cooking Brown Rice and 1-1/2 cups water in medium saucepan. Bring to a soft boil. Reduce heat to low; cover and simmer 25 minutes, or until liquid is absorbed. Remove from heat. Let stand covered 10 minutes before serving. Makes 2-1/2 cups cooked rice, or 4 servings, about 2/3 cups each. Note: If using electric rice cooker, combine 1 cup Nishiki Quick Cooking Brown Rice and 1-1/2 cups water in electric rice cooker pot. Let stand 20 minutes. Cook rice as directed by rice cooker manufacturer. When cooking is complete, let rice stand 10 minutes before serving. Makes 2-1/2 cups cooked rice.
