Once a place to rest along the pilgrims' route to Santiago de Compostela, Chateau des Jacques was purchased by Maison Louis Jadot in and is today a beautiful property situated next to the famous vineyards of the Cru Moulin-A-Vent and Morgon. The soil, mainly composed of chalk and rich in calcium, is carefully farmed to maintain its natural balance. Using native yeasts from each vineyard, a long, traditional fermentation takes place to produce concentrated and full-bodied Cru Beaujolais wines. Exclusively made from Gamay grapes, the wines are carefully crafted to express the nuance and complexity of their terroir and kept at a constant temperature in our chateau's 16th century vaulted cellars. Alc by vol 13.5%. Product of France.
