Directions: (1) Bring 7 cups of water to a rolling boil. (2) Whisk in soup mix and 1 can (6oz) tomato paste.. (3) Reduce heat to medium and simmer uncovered for 25 min, stirring occasionally. Salt and pepper to taste. Refrigerate any unused portion.
Try this recipe suggestion. Another twist on a classic: Smoky beef chilli. Brown 2 lbs. Ground beef in large saucepot; drain. Stir in 7 cups water, Bear Creek darn good chilli mix, 1 can (14 oz.) diced tomatoes, 1 can (6 oz.) tomato paste and 1/4 to 1/2 tsp. ground chipotle chilli powder and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer 20 minutes, stirring occasionally. Stir in 2 cups corn and simmer 5 minutes. Stir in 3 tbsp. chopped fresh cilantro and serve with shredded cheddar cheese and sour cream.
