Boost Your Protein: 1 cup mix. Makes 5-6 4-inch pancakes. 1 cup mix + 2.3 cup water = 12 g plant protein (See nutrition facts for sodium content) per serving. Tip: Use batter shortly after stirring, as batter will thicken over time. 1. Heat griddle to 350 degrees F (medium heat). Lightly grease griddle. 2. Whisk mix and water. Batter will be thick. For thinner pancakes. Add more water. Do not over-mix. 3. Pour slightly less than 1/4 cup batter per pancake onto griddle. 4. Cook pancakes 1-3/4 to 2 minutes per side, or until golden brown. (Note: Flip only once. Bubbles may not form). Do not eat raw batter. High Altitude: No adjustment necessary. Try Our Plant-Based Waffles: 2 cups Krusteaz plant-based pancake mix, 3/4 cup water, 1/4 cup vegetable oil. Whisk mix, water and oil until moistened. Batter will be thick. Pour slightly less than 2/3 cup batter onto lightly greased and preheated waffle iron. Cook waffles 4 minutes or until steaming stops. Let cool 2 minutes. Yield: 3, 7-inch waffles. High Altitude (over 5,000 feet): Prepare as directed adding an additional 2 tablespoons water.
