We raised them in the small family farms in North Carolina�s Piedmont region, following traditional and sustainable farming methods, as outlined in the Label Rouge program, We never use antibiotics, hormones, artificial growth enhancers, or animal byproducts in our feed. Our artisanal approach to harvesting and packing, including air-chilling, produces guinea hens with exceptional flavor and texture-the best in the world! Our Pintade Fermiere can be cooked like chicken, using your favorite recipe and cooking method. Simple roasting or grilling with sea salt and cracked pepper will reveal this exceptional bird�s full flavor. These birds may cook faster than commercial chickens, and cooking time will vary depending on oven or grill.
