Directions Instructions: You Will Need: Gnocchi Kit: 1-1/2 cups warm water. 1/2 cup of flour for dusting. 1. To Create Dough, combine package contents with water in a small mixing bowl. Stir with a fork until dough begins to form. Knead by hand until the dough no longer sticks. Transfer to a lightly floured surface and form into a loaf shape (Keep surface and dough lightly floured at all times to prevent sticking). 2. To Form Gnocchi, use a knife to cut dough into 1 inch strips (as pictured). Roll out each strip by-hand into long ropes. Cut each rope into 1 inch pieces. Optional: To create gnocchi's signature ridges, press the back of a fork into each piece. 3. To Cook, boil 5 qts. of salted water in a large pot. Cook for 3-5 min., until all the gnocchi float to the top. Drain gently and toss in a saucepan with desired sauce. Sauce Ideas: Brown butter, sage, parmigiano-reggiano bolognese sauce, creamy mushroom & cheese sauce.
