Pinot Noir, Red Wine, California
Our Grand Reserve Pinot Noir is the superlative expression of our blending process, sourced from just one or two appellations. Crafted boutique-winery style in small individual lots throughout the winemaking process for flavor distinction. We are committed to producing only the finest quality wines from Pinot Noir grapes grown in California’s cool coastal vineyards. This red wine reveals lively berry pie notes, defined in strawberry and black cherry, with hints of vanilla. Earthy aromas finesse with forest floor and dried leaf tones, leading to a velvety finish. Pair with filet mignon, roasted tomato pasta and lamb sliders. This bottled California pinot noir is 14.5% alcohol by volume. Kendall-Jackson Grand Reserve Pinot Noir red wine is 100% Jackson Estate grown in Anderson Valley. The region's combination of warm sunny days and cool froggy nights and mornings allow the grapes to mature slowly and express the truest characteristics of Pinot Noir. The high elevation, coastal vineyards create a Pinot Noir with rich red fruit, subtle earthy notes and a balanced, silky mouthfeel. Grapes are sourced from the lower-yielding estate vineyards that are specially-designated Grand Reserve Blocks. Grand Reserve is a winemaker’s blend of our mountain, ridge, hillside and benchland grapes grown along California’s cool coastal appellations. We hand select grapes from our best estate vineyards and then monitor, taste and hand-hold each individual lot throughout the winemaking process. Each lot is kept separate, barrel-aged and crafted-boutique winery style. Our winemakers have an unmatched palette of flavors, toast levels and terroir nuances from which they masterfully blend these exemplary rich, deep and complex wines.
