Directions
Preparation Instructions: 1. Heat 2 tbsp olive oil in large skillet over medium high heat. Add 3/4 lb of chicken or steak sliced into strips and cook for 5 minutes. 2. Turn meat over and cook an additional 5 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside. 3. Add (1) sliced medium onion and (1) sliced large bell pepper; sear for 5 minutes. Add 1/4 cup water, 1 packet of Fajita seasoning mix and precooked meat. 4. Reduce heat, simmer, stirring occasionally until ingredients are thoroughly cooked. For food safety, follow these cooking instructions. Cook thoroughly to an internal temperature of 165 degrees F as measured by a food thermometer, and hold for about 10-15 minutes. Since cooking appliances vary, these instructions are guidelines only.
