Pinot Noir, Santa Lucia Highlands
Vintage / 750 milliliters. Farmed in vineyards cooled by winds off the Pacific, this first vintage was harvested between September 9 and September 23. Mer Soleil, meaning sea and sun, takes its name from our coastal setting, where sunny skies mix with gusting maritime winds. This wine is produced from hillside vineyards in the Santa Lucia Highlands, whose dramatic weather provides ideal conditions for growing Pinot Noir. Charlie Wagner - Winemaker, The Mer Soleil Vineyard. 14.9% alc. by vol. 29.8 Bottled by the Mer Soleil Vineyard Fairfield, California, USA.
