Directions Recipe: Makes two 8 inch round cake layers. What you'll need: 3 large eggs; 3/4 cup canola oil; 1 cup milk. 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Lightly grease two 8 inch round cake pans. 2. Using a spoon or a whisk, beat the eggs, oil, and milk until well combined. Slowly add the dry mix and beat until smooth. Divide the batter evenly among the prepared pans. 3. Bake for 20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Let cakes cool in pans for 15 minutes, then gently turn out of the pans to cool completely on a rack before frosting. To make cupcakes instead, mix the batter as directed. Line or grease a muffin pan and fill muffin cups 3/4 full. Bake for 18-20 minutes.
