Directions
Stove: 1. In a medium saucepan bring water or broth to a boil (2 Servings (1 Cup Cooked): 1/2 cup rice; 1-1/2 cups water/broth; 2 cups yield. 4 (1 cup cooked) Servings: 1 cups rice; 3 cups water/broth; 4 cups yield. 10 (1 cup cooked) Servings: Entire Package rice; 7-1/2 cups water/broth; 10 cups yield). 2. Stir in rice, reduce heat to low, cover and simmer 55 minutes (Add tub margarine and salt, if desired). 3. Remove from heat. Let stand for 5 minutes. Microwave (It is recommended that only 1 cup rice be prepared in the microwave at a time. Microwave ovens vary. Cooking times are approximate): 1. In a 2 quart microwave-safe dish combine 1 cup wild rice and 2-1/2 cups water or broth. 2. Cover and microwave on high for 5 minutes. Reduce setting to 50% power, microwave for 30-35 minutes. Let stand for 10-15 minutes. Serve.
