Directions Preferred Method Rice Range Top Directions: What you Need : 2 Table spoons butter or margarine. 2 cups water. (1) In a medium saucepan, combine butter or margarine, water, rice, and Special Seasonings; bring to a boil. (2) Cover, reduce heat to medium-low. Simmer for 22-25 minutes or until mo of liquid is absorbed. (3) Remove from heat, leave covered. Let stand for 5 minutes. Stir well before serving. About 2 1/2 cups prepared. Enjoy! Microwave Directions: In a 2- quart microwaveable bowl, combine rice, Special Seasonings, 2 1/2 cups water, and 2 tablespoons butter or margarine. Cover; microwave at high 22-25 minutes or until rice is tender. Rice will be saucy. Let stand 5 minutes before serving. Microwave ovens vary; adjust times as needed. Less Fat Directions: Follow Range Top or Microwave Directions, except substitute butter with 1 1/2 teaspoons olive oil. Total fat reduced to 3.5 from 8 g. Sat fat reduced to 0.5 from 1.5 g.
