Directions
Cooking Tricolor Quinoa: 1 cup tricolor quinoa; 2 cups water; 1/2 teaspoon salt (optional); 1 teaspoon butter (optional). Bring water to boil in medium saucepan; add quinoa (salt and butter if desired). Cover and reduce heat. Simmer for 15 minutes or until liquid is absorbed. Remove from heat and allow to stand covered for 5 minutes. Fluff with fork and serve. Yields about 3-1/4 cups cooked quinoa.
