Directions How to Make Temaki-Sushi (Hand Roll): Place a half sheet of Yamamotoyama Sushi Hane Nori in the palm of hand, with the shiny-side down. Spread sushi rice on half of the sheet. Top rice with fresh, traditional sushi-style condiments (tuna, salmon, shrimp or other seafood, vegetables, wasabi). Create your own masterpieces by adding your own favorite ingredients. Roll nori starting from the rice covered edge: point the lower corner edge towards the center and form a cone. How to Cook Sushi Rice: Cook 2 cups of nishiki or botan calrose rice as directed. Spread cooked rice into a large, non-metal bowl, separating grains. Sprinkle 1/2 cup seasoned rice vinegar (or 1/3 cup rice vinegar mixed with 3 tbsp sugar and 1-1/2 tsp salt) evenly over rice; and mix gently. Let rice cool to room temperature. Note: Sushi rice is best if consumed immediately. Due to the nature of the product, this product may contain trace amount of fish and/or shellfish particles.
