Cabernet Sauvignon
The Blue-winged Teal is one of the most abundant ducks in North America. These migratory birds are known for their quick and elusive flight patterns, powder blue wing section and white crescent shape around the eye. It is very common for Blue-winged Teals to be seen in New Mexico during migration, although on occasion they have been observed in the southern parts of the state year round. The soft ruby color of this wine transitions to a subtle nose of spices, plum, red berries & mild hints of licorice. The taste is smooth and balanced with mild tannins, soft pepper tones, ripe plum & black raspberry. 13% alc by vol.
