Directions
You Will Need: 1 lb. lean ground beef or equivalent plant-based alternative. 1 can (15 oz.) pinto or kidney beans, drained. 1 can (28 oz.) diced tomatoes. Directions: (1) In a large saucepan, cook ground beef. Drain and return beef to pan. (2) Add beans and tomatoes to pan. (3) Add seasoning mix and bring to a boil; then simmer for 10 minutes or until desired thickness is reached. Tips: Slow-cooker: Add 15 oz. tomato sauce; cook 8 hours on low or 4 hours on High. Cook down leftovers for Burrito Bowls: spoon over rice, and top with cheese.
