Directions
Cooking Instructions: 8-12 mins. Stovetop is Best: Heat 1 tablespoon vegetable oil in a nonstick skillet over medium heat. Add frozen plant-based p'rk bites, cook 8 to 12 minutes, turning often until crisp and golden. Let rest 1 minute, then toss with warmed sauce. 16 Mins. Conventional Oven: Preheat oven to 400 Degrees F. On a nonstick baking sheet, bake frozen plant-based p'rk bites for 16 minutes, turning halfway through cooking, until golden and crispy. Let rest 1 minute, then toss with warmed sauce. 6 Mins. Sauce Pack: Place pack in bowl of hot water for 3 minutes to thaw. Open pack and pour sauce into small sauce pan. Heat on medium for 2 to 3 minutes until warm. Cook thoroughly. Remember: Let rest for 2 mins before serving. Do not overcook - its not meat! For food safety and quality: Keep frozen. Do not thaw. Appliances vary. Adjust cooking times as needed. Food must be cooked thoroughly to 165 degrees F.
Mini Plant-Based P'rk Kebabs: Heat up the grill. Lightly brush red and green peppers and pineapple with olive oil, then grill for 5-8 mins. Meanwhile, prepare p'rk bites including sauce, according to directions. For each mini kebab, use appetizer size wooden skewers. Thread 1 p'rk bite,1 piece of pineapple, 1 piece of pepper and 1 more p'rk bite. DIY Take-Out Dinner: Cook p'rk bites (do not add sauce yet) according to directions. Set aside. In a non-stick frypan, saute pineapple cubes. Set aside. Then saute cubed red and green peppers, and onion for a few minutes. Return pineapples and p'rk bites to pan, add warmed sweet ‘n sour sauce, and mix well.
Keep frozen.
