Sauted Rice Stick (bihon guisado) Ingredients: 454 grams Rice Stick, 2 Tablespoons cooking oil, 1 Medium-sized onion, 2 Cups pork or chicken meat, 6 Tablespoons shelled shrimps, 1 Cup carrots, 2 Cups shredded cabbage, 10 Tablespoons soy sauce, 5 Cups soup stock, 1 Teaspoon black pepper, 1 Teaspoon salt, 4 Teaspoons oyster sauce, 1 Clove garlic, 1 Cup sweet peas. Procedure: 1. Saute garlic and onion until golden brown in a frying pan. 2. Add meat and shrimps. Season with oyster sauce, pepper, salt and soy sauce. 3. Add vegetables and soup stock. Bring to a boil. 4. Remove meat and vegetables from the mixture. 5. Cook noodles in sauce for 3-5 minutes. 6. Remove cooked noodles from the frying pan and arrange it on a platter. 7. Sprinkle meat and vegetables on top of noodles. Serve with calamansi (Philippine lemon) if desired.
