Feeding Guidelines: Weight of Cat: 5-9 lbs; Cups per day (uses a standard 8 oz measuring cup): 1/2 - 3/4. Weight of Cat: 10-14 lbs; Cups per day (uses a standard 8 oz measuring cup): 3/4 - 1. Food intake requirements vary depending on age, activity and environment, and should be adjusted accordingly to maintain optimum body condition. Always provide your cat access to fresh, clean water. Wash your hands after handling your pet's food and bowls. Feeding for growth: For kittens ages 6 weeks to 4 months feed approximately 1/2 cup for every 2 lbs of body weight. For kittens ages 4 months to 7 months feed approximately 1/3 cup for every 2 lbs of body weight. Fot kittens ages 7 months to 12 months feed approximately 1/4 cup for every 2 lbs of body weight. Feeding for reproduction: Food consumption may vary during gestation, so feed the amount needed to maintain the pregnant female's good body condition. Food intake may double or even quadruple during lactation.
