This Clos du Bois Marlstone is a Clos du Bois tradition, Sonoma County's first red Bordeaux-style blend. Sourced from benchland and mountain vineyards in Alexander Valley, this unique blending of different varietIes spend a minimum of 22 months in French oak barrels. This red wine has intense aromas of plum and violets, a deep ruby color and enticing flavors of mocha, spice and rich blackberry. Soft supple tannins, a rich mouthfeel and a long, silky finish provide a memorable ending to this luscious and expressive wine. Varietal: 72% cabernet sauvignon, 2% merlot, 5% petit verdot, 1% malbec, 1% cabernet franc.
