Bring 5 cups of water to a boil, add the contents of the large bag to the boiling water. Cover tightly and simmer over low heat for 1 hour or until tender, stirring occasionally, add contents of small packet during the last 10 minutes of cooking. Season to taste. Make 4 one cup servings.
