You will need: 1-3/2 cups Heart Smart Bisquick mix. 1/2 cup fat-free (skim) milk. 1. Heat oven to 425 degrees F. Stir ingredients until soft dough forms. 2. Drop dough by spoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet. 3 bake 10-12 min or until golden brown. 5 biscuits. High altitude (3500-6500 ft) no change. Heart Smart Pancakes Makes 14 pancakes. You will Need: 2 cups Heart Smart Bisquick mix. 1-1/4 cups fat-free (skim) milk. 1 egg. 1. Stir ingredients until blended. 2. Pour by slightly less than 1/4 cupfuls onto hot greased griddle. 3. Cook until edges are dry; about 1 minute 30 seconds. Turn; cook 1 minute 30 seconds or until golden. High altitude (3500-6500 ft): No change. For heart healthy pancakes. Just add the following ingredients in step one of our heart smart pancakes recipe. 1/3 cups fat-free (skim) milk. 2 egg whites. Waffles makes 12 (4-inch) waffles. You will Need: 2 cups heart smart Bisquick mix. 1-1/3 cups fat-free (skim) milk. 2 tsp vegetable oil. 1 egg. 1. Stir ingredients until blended. 2. Pour onto center of hot greased waffle maker. Close lid. Bake about 5 min or until steaming stops. Carefully remove waffle. High altitude (3500-6500 ft) increase milk to 1-1/2 cups. Make it your own. Stir 1 of your favorites into the Bisquick pancake or waffle recipe. Make it Fruity: Add 2/3 cup raisins. Make it Nutty: Add 1/4 cup chopped walnuts. Make it Tasty: Add 1/2 cup mashed banana.
