Simple Sesame Broccoli
This quick and simple broccoli recipe makes a great side for any entrée! And it’s easy to double if you have a large crowd over for dinner.
Total cook time
- 4 cups O-Organics broccoli florets (cut into large bite-size pieces, rinsed and drained)
- 1 teaspoon extra virgin olive oil or canola oil
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon toasted sesame seeds ((available in the spice section), add more if desired)
Add freshly rinsed broccoli to microwave-safe dish and partially cook on high for 2 minutes.
Start heating canola and sesame oil in a nonstick frying pan over medium heat. After about 30 seconds, add the broccoli florets. After the bottom has some blackened areas (1-2 minutes), toss florets over to lightly brown the other side (about 1 minute more).
Sprinkle toasted sesame seeds over the top and serve!
