Grilled Chocolate Sandwich
This super simple and sweet recipe will satisfy all your chocolate cravings! Make this Grilled Chocolate Sandwich for a mid-day snack or an easy dessert. Featuring Signature Kitchens™ chocolate chips and Signature SELECT™ Artisan Bread, this dessert is perfect for one or the whole family!
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter (softened)
- 1/2 loaf Signature SELECT Artisan French Baguette
- 1/2 cup Signature Kitchens chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 350°F.
Split baguette lengthwise and spread interior surface of bread with butter.
Heat 12-inch skillet over medium heat, and place bread, butter side down, on the pan.
Toast until crisp.
Turn bread over, add chocolate and fold halves together.
Place pan in oven and toast for 3-4 minutes or until chocolate is melted.
Remove from oven and press the bread slightly to compress the sandwich together.
To serve, cut on the bias.
