Hormone Replacement Therapy assists in achieving hormone balance. Both men and women can benefit from hormone replacement therapy. Hormones are used to relieve symptoms of menopause, andropause, hysterectomies, and hypothyroidism, as well as similar hormone imbalances when exercise and a good diet are not enough.

Hormone levels fluctuate throughout life causing imbalances to occur at different times which can cause many life impacting symptoms such as:

  • Fatigue
  • Disturbed sleep
  • Irritability
  • Weight gain
  • Headaches
  • Reduced libido
  • Memory loss

If you are currently on, or are considering the use of, Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) and you think individualized HRT makes more sense than a one-size-fits-all approach, please speak with your physician and/or complete our HRT Evaluation Form - Male or HRT Evaluation Form - Female. This confidential form will be reviewed by a pharmacist who will contact you within 48-72 hours.

Andropause is often called the “male menopause.” As men age, they produce less testosterone. Men can start this decline as early as their 30′s or 40’s when the body’s production of testosterone starts to drop by 1-2% each year. This decrease in testosterone can lead to a number of symptoms. Men can go through these changes quickly or more slowly over a period of time, with a gradual hormone decline. Often these symptoms can be reduced or eliminated through testosterone replacement therapy (TRT).

Signs and symptoms of low testosterone may include:

  • Fatigue
  • Weakness
  • Insomnia
  • Depression
  • Diminished sex drive
  • Mood changes
  • Lean body mass reduction along with muscle mass and strength
  • Loss of body hair
  • Increased fat around the abdomen

Benefits of customized Testosterone Replacement Therapy may include:

  • Improvement in libido
  • Increase in muscle mass and body composition
  • Increase in strength
  • Improvement in mood and depression
  • Improvement in sleep and quality of life

If you are currently on, or are considering the use of, Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) and you think individualized HRT makes more sense than a one-size-fits-all approach, please speak with your physician and/or complete our HRT Evaluation Form - Male. This confidential form will be reviewed by a pharmacist who will contact you within 48-72 hours.
