Safeway Data Synchronization Welcome to Safeway's Data Synchronization information site. Safeway believes the first step in a successful electronic trading partnership is the synchronizing of item information and authorization alignment. Since data synchronization is a business imperative, we will send all trading partners a list of items by store or distribution center for validation. Our group works with each supplier to correct any discrepancies found during the synchronization process. Moving forward, we will exchange item files as needed or requested. Safeway Inc is a member of the Uniform Code Council and the Electronic Council of Canada. We actively participate in industry initiatives and adhere to their mission of enabling a collaborative relationship through electronic capacity.
