Quality produce begins with our growers. We’ve partnered with farms that share our passion, and worked with them to ensure you get the pick of every crop. Some of our relationships go back 75 years!
And when it comes to produce, we’re pickier than most. Our expectations exceed USDA #1 and industry standards, and we inspect each product 5 times for quality:
1. In the field, where our team works directly with the growers.
2. In our suppliers’ coolers, prior to shipping.
3. At our distribution centers, to ensure specifications.
4. At our stores, before it’s brought out for sale.
5. On the shelf, where freshness is evaluated every day.
We also use the latest analytical tools and a state-of-the-art inspection station to ensure each product meets our high standards.
So when you shop at stores, you'll always get the best produce available...at an unbeatable price. In fact, if you don't find our produce completely fresh, ripe and delicious, we'll replace it OR refund your money. Now that's sweet!
